

Your day out in the Roman countryside begins with a pickup at the Fara Sabina train station, perfect for those looking for a daytrip from Rome. We’ll visit the charming hilltown of Fara Sabina, the crown jewel of the Farfa Valley, where we’ll enjoy a treat at the ancient forno (bakery) before heading over to the beautiful convent nearby. Next, we’ll travel to Farfa Abbey for a sumptuous lunch, and (in season), visit a local cheese maker.
We’ll then embark on a walking tour of picturesque Toffia, before exploring ancient Roman ruins nearby.
On your way back to Rome, we’ll take you to see an exciting contemporary art exhibition and/or visit the outlets!

We'll start our daytrip from Rome in Toffia for a quick visit to this charming Medieval hilltown before walking 1'20" to Farfa Abbey, where you'll be treated to a sumptuous lunch of typical Sabinese dishes. Afterward, we'll explore a contemporary art museum (weekends only) or take you into an ancient Roman amphitheatre.

Our day concludes with a sunset aperitivo in Fara Sabina, a visit to a local winery, or an olive oil tasting experience with our certified 'oil sommelier'.
